What are the system requirements for VoIPSurfer?
» Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003, 2003SE or 5.0
» 300 MHz CPU advised
» WiFi connection
» Earpiece or headset suggested
» Account with VoIP Provider that supports IAX protocol or, alternatively, your own Asterisk Telephony Server.

Is my Pocket PC compatible?
The following list is a "positive list", if your device doesn't show up here yet, it doesn't necessarily mean that you can't use VoIPSurfer.

In general you should first install the trial version of VoIPSurfer and test it thoroughly, as there is no refund policy.

More and more  VoIP Provider support the IAX protocol. VoIPSurfer will help propagate this superior VoIP protocol.

How do I get the Software?
You can download VoIPSurfer here . Please install it on your Pocket PC using Microsoft ActiveSync. The trial version is fully functional. If you do not have a VoIP provider yet that supports the IAX protocol, just use the Server we are providing for test calls. You will find the necessary data in file Readme.txt in the downloaded archive.

If you are using a Pocket PC with external speakers, please make sure to use an earpiece or headset, as else the microphone catches the voice of the called party and returns it to them. This echo will be eliminated by using an earpiece or headset.

When installing the full version and starting VoIPSurfer for the first time, you will be presented with a Device ID . Please take a note of the Device ID and fill out the  order form. We will send you the registration code after having received your payment.

Sure. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, as long as you got a working WiFi connection.
